The Leakfrogs are handy little green frog looking things that beep like crazy when they sense water on a surface. I keep one next to the bucket that my ro/di fills...that would be the bucket I overflow on a weekly basis...lol

A really good idea to keep one under your tank!

Not to Hijack this thread but DVS referred me to this water alarm and it works like a charm....it sets off the alarm before the water hits the floor.....

Its very loud...

That's interesting Hov..but how does it detect a leak before the water hits the floor???

The Leakfrog comes with the batteries (at least mine did)..and it's a 2 pack for 14.99!

it has a censor that u attach to the bucket or tank...when it gets wet it starts to scream, that means its time to turn off water or a flooding is in progress

I don't understand why you guys don't just spent the $15 on a float valve, screw it into your bucket and you never have to worry about floods?

Because floods don't only occur from buckets.
