Skimmate question

If your skimmer is pulling out a decent amount of thinner liquid, do you replace it with RO or salt water? Forget fine tuning the skimmer for a minute, and not talking evaporation, just the skimmate.

I would go a bit dryer to avoid a overflow in the cup.Use RO water
