I am thinking of replacing my radions xr30 g4 because they are a pain in the butt to program and use sometimes. I guess I am not very good with the möbius or Ecotech smart apps. Kind of like the AiPrime 16 hd which is what I have on my nano. Is two enough for the depth plus I have no sps in the tank. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone and Happy holidays!

One of my friend has same reef and also he install very beautiful light
that was gifted by his boss from gouttieressaintjerome.ca , let me ask him more details
about it and will share with you.
If you're interested in something simpler and effective, then AI Prime 16 HD will be a perfect choice, especially for a tank without SPS. Two of them should be more than enough for your 75-gallon reef, especially if you're not dealing with deep light requirements. The coverage and intensity should work well for soft corals and LPS. Kessil A360X can also be a good option, which is known for its ease of use and natural shimmer.

Thanks Matt. That was my choice also but I finally figured out the Radions. I love the Ai prime, that is what I have on my nano. Thanks for the response and advice!!

Hi Mathew, for the AI Prime 16 HD option how much would it cost me? I'm looking into this one!

Since you're not planning on keeping SPS, you won't need the extreme intensity that the XR30s offer. Switching to the Primes sounds like a good move for simplicity and ease of use. Happy holidays to you too!

If I was you, buy once and you'll be glad you did it in the long run.

i am unsure whats rough about the g4 but I have a g5 with mobius and its simple as selecting the template and adjust accordingly.

If you ever decide to get some SPS you will never question if your light will give you the best possible outcome.

I have had Orpheks, AI, etc.

I am finally glad I went to ecotech on the return to the hobby. They are pricey but I have zero doubt my light wont be a weak point in my system.

2 xr15s and add ai blade/orphek or3/reefbrites if you want a little extra pop.

You can find g5s on sale.

Two AI 16s would work easily but if you don't want to have to push them too hard, I would do three of them for a much better spread on a 48" aquarium. It will give you a piece of mind for a future proof system down the road, if you want to sneak in an SPS into the mix 😉

Reef Breeders Photon 32, they not produced anymore but probably find one used. Can easily be used for SPS or power down for LPS

You're in good company. Myself and a cuople friends have given up on them. You might check out PopBloom on amazon. 2 of thier RL90s together are smaller and brighter than the XR30s.
