Apex classic, is it really necessary?

I have an Apex classic but have ceased using a calcium reactor and have no more sps coral. I have a few soft corals and rose bubbletip anemones. Do you think I can remove the apex and keep things very simple?? Thanks

Do you not use EB8 or EB832? if not, they’re only useful in monitor temperature and ph

That is all that I am using it for. Maybe I should sell it but it look cool having fancy equipment in your setup

They don’t sell much tbh. Most people uses A2 or A3 where they don’t have to worry about Ethernet cable.

I’m likely in the minority but I prefer an Ethernet connection to Wifi, especially with reef gear.

A2 and A3 also has Ethernet port, so you can go wireless or with wire

It's good at its job as a controller, and doesn't loo like a Fisher Price toy. So unless you are not using it at all...
