70-72 degree tank pros/cons

Does any1/ has anyone keep their tanks at lower temps? Would corals thrive or even survive in 70-72 degree temp waters?

Please share ur thoughts on pros/cons.

If your tank is doing good why change what ur doing? If u have it at 76 keep it there, unless u have issues with heat or just experimenting then hey go for it

Over the years I’ve kept 2 tank set ups at 78 degrees and and everything thrived.

A new tank set up over the past few month, I figured that I’ll keep it at the same temperature as my house.

while the livestock seem to be unbothered by it, I wonder how sps/lps would do under these temps ?‍
