I've often seen shrimp (not just cleaners, Peppermints as well) with these weird "growths" on their sides; these pouches. I've seen them quite frequently in stores - I thought these were pregnant shrimp. But apparently not! Any idea what these are? Are these diseases of some sort?
as far as I know they tend to stick with a single type of animal. It has to do with how they are passed on or picked up. It is entirely possible the other shrimp may get it but I doubt your fish would get it.
