Hi, Guys. Me and my local fish friends in Utah are trying to start up a breeders co-op. We all have different species we are attempting to breed. I have 3, but none of those are yet able to be sold to the general public. I do have some really good macroalgae spp I would love to share. I have only been trying to keep the ones that really serve a purpose: either highly functional or gorgeous as a display. Also, some of us have live food: Copepod (calanoid and harps), mysis, rotifers, live phytoplankton.

Just be careful of state regulations where you send your macroalgaes, I know California can be quite picky for what marine plants it lets in :D

Open to everyone but not like Frags.org. It is just me and my girlfriend! So far, anyway. It is hard to convince people to try to breed fish.

Thanks for the heads up about California. I had completely forgotten about that. Do you know if it is just Caulerpas? Do you know if other states do this?

Unfortunately I don't know what other state regulations are, California had a huge outbreak and spent boku bucks to eradicate it. Its not ALL species of caulerpa, just most of them (that are available in our hobby), and I'm not sure if that extends to other macroalgaes.

Contact Fish & Game/Wildlife departments in each state you wish to ship to first. Some of the fines can be pretty hefty. California and Florida I believe are about the most restrictive states, for obvious reasons.
