Hi all,

My lighting fixtures are slowly going the way of the dodo, so I'm in the process of upgrading them. I just got a Formosa-DX for my 25gal but need to find legs for it. Is there any benefit to running the JBJ lights or will any straight pin 65w lights work?

Also, I saw these T5's on eBay - I've no experience with T5's at all - would they be ok to go on my 20gal? It's only got Fluffy the eel in there - maybe some softies later -

And last one - how would you rate the Odyssea series? If I don't go with the T5's I'll likely get this -

For an eel tank, those T5s will work fine. Odyssea are very good value fixtures too. Some people have had quality control problems with them, but for the price, I think they're great. I'd go with the PCs if you want softies in the tank eventually. Two 14W T5s really aren't very bright.

Doesn't matter if you go for square or straight IMO now that true actinics are available in both bases. And they make adapters too.
