This thing is growing like aptasia.
Well maybe something better than that, not that GSP are much more than a weed to some, they are a bit nicer to look at. So it is growing like GSP.

We are sticking with 9 speakers and a frag demo, so 10 presentations. I have a LFS that is donating the coral and has had them in holding for a month already, so they will be pretty healthy come fragging time. Deluxe fraggers get to take home a 29-gal bio cube, plus other goodies. And the raffle, OMG this is going to be huge!

The rep this is getting has some vendors approaching me about being the co-host in 2009 and pressure to do 3 in 09 is growing. An east coast, west and the midwest FragFest. Would love to hear from some hobbyists on the coast about that idea.

Hope to meet up with some of you guys and gals at the RDO booth.

Lets not.

Folks this event would not have been possible if it were not for the G man and Reef Nutrition.
First it was Gresham who in late 05 was very kind in his donation to the 1st ever FragFest. Not only was he very supportive with that, but on a personal level Gresham has given me invauluable advice, ideas and information about running an event like this. Things I would have never thought of as a hobbyist, he helpped me out with so that I could attract vendors. I'd like to think that it was due to this relashionship we started to build that I was able to show RN that I ment buisness in running an event that would be great for all who attend, vendor, speaker and hobbyist. And at the begining they signed on board to be my co-host.

I truly dought that FragFest would be where it is today if it was not for Gresham and Randy's support and advice. Not only that they have a great product line too.

It is my hope that they want to be long term co-hosts and the other companies will have to wait in line.

While this may seem like a bucnh of fluff, and only inr esponse to the above let me assure you it is not. While I am posting it here now due to that the facts are what they are. I hate to think were the hobby would be with out RN. From the products they offer, to the advice given as well as the support of events like this.

Thank you Gresham and Randy!

I was just pulling your leg, now you have me blushing Rob

Events like this that bring hobbyists together are what I belive are the next step in this hobby to bring us to the next level of reef keeping. I learn something every one I attend and I hope everyone walks away with the same. Just last weekend I was in Denver for REEFSTOCK and it really set the mood for the year for me. I can't wait for MWFF to go down :P These regional events are growing and I couldn't be happier although it's getting tough to decide which I can actually attend as so many are coming about :D
