I have heard a lot of good things about deltec skimmers (there products in general).

Any one have a MCE300?
What are your thoughts on it?

Name some places that have them (only ones I can find are in Europe =| ) and any good information sites on them :D

Tank size is 29g.

Thanks!

Never seen the 300 but have seen the 600. NKT also owns this, as did the late Greg Schiemer. I think Deltec under-rates their recirc sump skimmers, but over-rates their hang-on skimmers. If the skimmer performance is linear to pump performance and chamber size, think the 300 is good for a 30-40 gallon, but not the 90 it is specified for.

a remora pro would do fine on your tank. A friend ran a gsm on her 29.

I did get my deltec from that site. I love my skimmer, but would not use it on a larger tank. if I switch to a 65 I'll get a different skimmer.

if you can swing it, i'd suggest going with the mce600...the 300 uses an mj1000...not the best pump and for the money the 600 performs much better. we use a 600 on our 20g sps nano with great results.

Been reading some stuff on the 300 and looks like its not a great skimmer.

600 might be the way to go if I can pump out $500 >.<
