Is IPSF 9/$99 really a good deal?

I have bought from IPSF before and liked what I received. I really like their web site too - it's clever.

But is 9/$99 really a good deal?

IMO No. They dont have anything in there that I feel would be critical to establishing or keeping a healthy reef tank.

I think the 9/99 special is great actually-it includes shipping as well. Skip the algea in the package, go for the LS activator, snails, amphipods, wondermud, mini stars, etc. It is even better, because it is almost all captive bred by them- not taken from the wild. Worth the money.
