Hmm raNDOM fish died...

I have a 36 gallon copper banded butterfly, velvet damsel, coral beauty and "cream angel." The Copper banded butterfly stopped eating 2 days ago, refused to leave corner of tank, came home today found it under rock, put into a hospital 10 gal..Fish was dead 2 hours later. When put into hospital tank with 0 flow, fish was swimming upside down...sideways round and round couldn't swim normal....

Any idea what happend? All tank param norms... All other fish acting normal... to many variables in last week to know....added new power head...stirred up sand bed...added new chito and phosban...could any of these be what happend? Had all fish since start of tank 4 months agoo.....

ANY help appreciated...

What had he been eating? Usually these fish will not eat prepared foods well. Even if he did pick at something, my guess is that he didn't get the nutrition he needed to live and essentially starved. If it was under a rock, he could have been getting harrassed by another fish as well.

maybe it ate something poisonous by accident but maybe it was caught with cyanide
