bubble coral

I have a bubble coral in my 75 gallon tank. I have been feeding it silversides for about 3 months. My coral seems to have lost some dimension on the size of its bubbles. Is just feeding silversides O.K. for my bubble coral? I feed about 1/4 of a silverside 3 times a week.

Another thing i did was go from a 250 watt coralife lighting to the T5 lighting at 420 watts. My tank looks nicer with the light but could this have caused my bubble reduce the its bubble size.

Lastly, i have a green brain coral this one is looking O.K. and I only feed it silversides. Is this O.K. to feed only silversides.

Couple things here. First I would feed more than just 1 food item. Same with fish they should get a varied diet. Give it some pods of some sort, Reef Nutrition has Artic pods that my bubble loves.
Next the bubble size. If I am clear the bubble is not shrinking, but it's bubbles are smaller. The coral will expand it's poylps to create more surface area to capture more light. If it is not expanding them as much there is a good chance that the T-5's are providing more useable light for the coral, thus resulting in it not needing so much surface area.

since you are feeding, it might be less inflated because it doesnt need to open up and get light for energy. does it have more tentacles then bubbles? this happened with my brain coral.

i tend to think its mostly due to the increase in lighting. they don't need a lot, and it will probably open back up with time.
