Guys-

I haven't been posting for a while due to my hectic lifestyle (I am in an Executive MBA program, promotion and working 65 hours/week, wife pregnant, 3 kids, etc). I am moving from Indy and temporarily leaving the hobby. What is the best way to sell my stuff? eBay? The For Sale Forum? Local LFS?

I have already started my new job, and cannot arrange to ship so I will have to find local buyers.

I have the following I need to sell:
180g All-Glass reef ready tank
55g acrylic sump
MyReef Creations protein skimmer
MyReef Creations kalkreactor
2x400W MH tar ballast + reflectors + Iwasaki bulbs
1x400W MH electronic ballast + reflector + bulb 10,000k
Icecap VHO ballast + 2 6' actinic bulbs
various pumps
2 stage temp controller
Cole Parmer dosing pump
6 stage RO/DI unit with auto-shut off

Yellow tang 6", 6" pacific blue tang, 5" copperband butterfly fish, 5" yellow wrasse, 4" gold-stripe maroon clown
large queen conch, many snails, hermits, etc
many zooanthids (5+ species), two different types of ricordea
12+ species of SPS
2 clams

270lbs fiji liverock

Any ideas on how to get some $$ for this stuff? It is killing me to sell it, but I have no choice.

Thanks in advance,
Ernie

If you have Ebay experience, most of the non livestock stuff is easy to sell on Ebay. We even sold our 155 bowfront on Ebay as pick up only. Some fool drove 8 hours each way to get it.

I would also try posting to any local reef clubs, especially for the corals.

you can try ebay and you might find somebody, from my expirience if you post in your home town on craigs list it may be better because they are local people looking.
