But, it is a critical part that makes a euroreef what it is.

Consider how much you paid for it to begin with (complete) and how much a Sedra runs on its own..

Starts to make sense... Well, to me anyway, and I'm super cheap!

Yeah.. - They did just drop their prices.. - I got mine when it was still up there around $250.

Still, like I said, its a critical part so thats how they can get away with it..

I guess you found out where their secret profit margin is hidden.

Make your own impeller with a bioball, then have one for a DIY over at RC

Try contacting http://www.premiumaquatics.com or http://www.asmskimmer.com. They both carry needlewheel assemblies for Sedras (IIRC about $35)...

You can also check with CRA (jeremyR), they have store brand needle wheel pumps that work great and are priced right. www.inverts.com

They were out of stock a couple of months ago but may have gotton more in since them.
