More question/suggestions requested.

I found a place I can get an Oceanic 150RR (60x24x24) with megaflows. It is about $150 more than the 120. I think I am going to opt for the larger tank. Please look over my gear list and tell me what you think. I have yet to buy anything so comments are welcome.

Tank 150rr (60x24x24)
Sump 40 gal breeder with DIY baffles (yet to design)
Return pump Panworld 50pxx 1100 GPH @ 4 ft
Skimmer Euroreef CS180
Internal circulation 2 Tunze 6200 with controler
SEIO 1100 (I already have this so figured I would toss it in)
2 URI VHO actinic Bulbs (60" long) Powered by Icecap 660 (already have ballast and end caps)
2 ea 250 watt MH set up Reeef optics 3 DE pendant, XM 10KK bulb, Coralvue electron Ballast. (I have one set up and like it and want the sides to match, only 6 months run time on the MH system I have)
Airwaterice Typhoon III RO/DI (already have)
Water storage ??? Need suggestion here. I like the big poly tank Louey has, but think a cheaper alternatve caol be used.
Top off float valve from UP plastics.

:D good for you! I do miss mine...

Yeah....

<sigh>

I wish I could have held onto it for ya.. :?

The 72 is coming along fairly well but something has the softies (xenias, kenya, capnellas and even the green stars) looking pretty depressed. Not sure what it is and haven't had a real overabundance of time to figger it out either.

Hopefully I can get a grip on it soon, at least one of the capnellas looks like it might not make it. :? -- Anyway, sorry, didn't mean to pull a thread jack here...

Yeah, that 120 of yours was pretty damn sexy lookin! ;)

Hijack away, just post me a comment on my gear list.

You surely will need a big 'ol drool bucket for visiters when they show up Wazz

I'll add that to the list Tracy. It will be one of the first things you see when you walk in the house so it has to be nice.

Wazz,

Maybe 3 MH lights. The 6ft is allot to cover.

Maybe a controller for the heaters.

Cooling - fans or chiller?

The tank is 5 ft not 6 ft. I think 2 will do the job, I hope anyway. Forgot to mention I already have 2 icecap fans, 1 off brand fan that has about the same CFM, a 1/4hp chiller and a heater. Thanks for the comments.

Nevermind - I am outta of it today. I was in the ER all night last night.

60in does equal 5ft.

Waz, have you considered Lumenarcs. I've had the SS RO3 and the Lumenarcs are on a whole other level :P But they are rather huge.

Eek Rob. Sorry to hear that :(

Waz - Everything is good now. Wife was in some serious pain yesterday. Turned out to be pnuemonia. 9.5 hours in the ER to find that out. Thanks for asking.

Sorry Wazz, can't offer much more than a puddle of drool. :P

Sounds like a very nice setup in the works.. - I have a 250w ROIII w/ 10k XM on an Ice Cap and like it a lot too. - I'm guessing you should be fine with 2 of those as well, my LFS (lucky me, another GOOD one) has had 2 of them on a 4 ft bow for the last few months and it looks damn sweet, I'm amazed how much one of their monti caps in there has grown every time I see it.

Thanks. This will be my 3rd reef tank I will be setting up. I hope I have learned a few things over the past 8 years.
