Addtional flow can be created in the tank with closed loops, wave makers, surge devices, tunze streams, etc. How much flow you have in your tank is determined by the animals you intend to keep. 30 times tank volume for turnover should be a good target for an SPS tank. What are you planning to keep? Louey
