Culturing live, rescued corals at Mote was a part time job where I had just managed to be there long enough and gather enough experience to entirely curate and manage the live corals, permits, etc.

My "real" gig is coral-based paleoclimatology and paleoceanography both as a paid lab person and as graduate work.

And now I miss it Chip, and wish I was growing them again. I'm terrified to go down and see what they've done to my babies in the four months since I quit.
