which do you feel is the most benifical fish to a sand bottom reef tank no sps, and why. thank you and God bless.

I guess I'm not sure what you are asking SP...are you asking "what fish is good for the sandbed" or "what fish is compatible with my setup"?

:D Either way, it'd be helpful to know what size tank it is.

Well, I guess it depends on your tastes, but in terms of reef safe, blennies come to mind as they are smaller and quite comical sometimes to watch. As far as flash goes, the Firefish are lovely. I'm sure others will chime in with their favorites.

Benificial... hmmm any number of gobies which stir up the sand are benificial, problem is ones like engineered gobies get quite large.

In my opinion there are no fish that are beneficial to a sand bed. They are either neutral or detrimental.

DITTO! If you want a healthy efficient reef. Go with no fish at all.
Use snails to stir it up. Nassarius snails work GREAT.
