New saltwater/reef store openening soon New Jersey

I think it was The Living Reef. Located on Rt 70 east about 1/4 mile west of the Rt 70/73 circle. If anyone is familiar with where Aquarium Discount Center is on Rt 73 north just north of the 70/73 circle, it is within walking distance (and easlier than fighting those damn circles.) The store is openeing 2/15/06. When I walked in they advised me that they were not opened yet, but let me look around. Looks like a nice place with soem real nice show tanks including a 92 corner seahorse tank, 200+ reef tank and one of those half circle tanks.

I hear you, with todays gas prices 75 minutes of driving is a hefty bill. It is that distance for me too but it was on my way to TomsRiver to visit relatives. I asked the owner-he said he the website is under construction. There is no thelivingreef.com Are you thinking of thehiddenreef.com ??

there is a big thread on another board they sponsor. Ed is a good guy, and knows his stuff. It should be a really cool store when its open.. I know I will be there for the grand opening!

In Living Color, The Living Reef, boy was I off. Sorry for the short term memory, thats what shift work does to you! Anyway, two SW stores within one mile-wow. I have always gone to ADC for their cheap tanks but never bought livestock there. Now I have the best of both worlds especially since The Hidden Reef in Philadelphia is temporarily closed.

They didn't open due to the building inspector not showing up. They opened today at 9am. I'm swinging by after work.

Just got back, place is amazing. Prices are kinda high for some things, but its gorgeous inside, and the quality looks 2nd to none.

On Monday I stopped in-for the second time now I walked right in unknowing that they were not open but still working. I was disappointed as I really drove out of my way. How did you like those rimless tanks with water overflow?

how did I like them? Loved em, just wish I had enough money to set one of them up, that and a dog who wouldnt just put his paws on it and slurp the water.
