Can you ID this macro? I have had a heck of a time finding what it is.

I've seen Fire Coral grow like that (the hydroid version).

Looks like a fire coral to me. I would also clean the valonia out from between the "coral".

Is it hard or soft to the touch? It does look like a Millepora sp. fire coral to me too.

Touching it would be the fastest way to figuring out if its fire coral. The soft under side of your wrist is an ideal spot if you want to run around and scream like a little school girl. :lol:

I have to complement that picture, that is an excellent picture! Which camera are you using?

Works great for a 9V battery.

What else have you licked that gave you a shock? umm.... never mind lets not go there.
