I had two yellow coris wrasses together. Had a sixline in there too. The sixline took a drydive.

The possum and Sixline are both shaped the same, and I think that could be bad.

Hey Chris. If these will be in your 180 I think they should fine. I would put the possum in a little while before the six line. You may rarley see the possum wrasse as they seem to hide quite a bit, IME. The six line is one of my favs. They are always out checking out the live rock and other fish. I have had some pick at feather duster type worms though.

I've actually had the possum for quite a while now. A friend has an algae-ridden tank with just a six line...and I'm thinking of buying him.

I have a little more room now with my firefish in a 10 gallon.

Great news for the ancient firefish.

I would try the six line. I have never found them that aggressive.
Is the Possum gregarious or on the shy side?

The possum is shy...that's why I think it might work...they are both...easy going, so to speak.

I have an 80 gallon with lots of live rock and caves, have both a 6 line and possum in it, they get along fine. the possum is more shy then the 6 line, he only comes out during feeding. otherwise they get along fine

Well, fwiw, I picked him up tonight, and he seems fine with his new tankmates, and vice versa. Very cool fish, they be!

Congrats Chris, the six line wrasse is a great little fish. They aren't scared of much, kinda the Chihuahua of the reef. Good luck with him.
