I purchased my first non-mushroom/zoo corals yesterday. 3 nice pieces - 2 Sinulara and a Toadstool. Each came on the smallest piece of rock (by small I mean 1/2" - 1") and I cannot figure out the best way to get these secured to the rock in my reef.

I tried wedging them into crevases - worked for one of the pieces - but I found the larger Finger Leather on the sandbed this am. That one actually seemed the most secure of the 3 last night.

Any suggestions? I do not want to superglue them b/c I'm not sure where they will thrive best in my tank, and if they need to be moved I cannot do that with them glued to the rock structure.

Thanks for your help.

actually, if you super glue them you usually can still relocate them- a screwdrive wedged underneath will pop them off easily.

You don't even need the screwdriver: I was always able to get the superglue out of my rock with bare hands (and I'm not that strong :) ).
Actually, you'll discover that you have problems making it stick there: I rutinely glue corals 2-3 times until they get to encrust the base.
