hermits, snails in aquafuge?

I tryed the other site but didnt get a response. I just finished setting up a 18" aquafuge last week and noticed some flake food just sitting in the bottom of it for last couple days. This cant be good so would it be ok to add a small hermit & or snil or two?

yes, it's ok, i have cerith,nassarius and one turbo in mine.
