Thanks Laura. I have been feeding my tanks for a couple months now. The sps tank gets a small amount of golden pearls, Cyclop-eeze and DTs twice a week. I know sps corals are carnivores but I figure the DTs will feed something. My softy/ LPS tank gets cyclop-eeze and DTs twice a week and the LPS corals get some extra formula one chunks twice a week. I use Selcon once a month for the filter feeders and every other week for the fish.
The largest change I have seen is in both tanks has been micro-critters. The pod population in both tanks has exploded; in the sps tank, I have spaghetti worms EVERWHERE. There must be 20 new worms between the sand bed and rocks.
Although I truly love these little critters, I have not yet seen an improvement in my corals. Nutrient levels have not increased so no harm has come from it that I can see...
