kalk experts have a question for ya?

is it ok to mix vinegar and kalk first and then add water. i have been mixing 15cc of vinegar to 1/2 teaspoon of kalk then adding 1liter of water.

in addition can this mixture be added in the am and pm. i only topoff water in the morning and evening

will this type of solution lower my mg levels?

It depends on what is in the vinegar besides the acetic acid, which depends on the brand, etc.. As long as it does not make the kalk to become oxidized (acetic acid does not, but again, it is the rest of the vinegar) and precip. out when you use it, then it is fine. Appearantly, you had been doing it, and so it sounds like your vinegar type is fine.

Any time you want, as long as you don't dose it too much too fast.

I don't remember any effect does kalk/vinegar has on Mg directly.
