Snails giving off some cloudy smoke

What is the cloudy smoke coming off several snails. Most snails are on the glass close to the top & giving off that cloudy smoke. Is this natural? Is it harmful to the other tank inhabitants....

Anyone with details? Is this cloudy stuff OK for the inhabitants or I should do what?

They are spawning. If the tank begins to cloud you would want to do a water change. This could cause 02 depletion in the tank.

Thanks Dan. Water is not cloudy. I will monitor my ORP. ORP rdg was down a bit last nite & coming back up this am. thanks

One night just before light out i see this big cloud of smoke coming from behind one of my rocks on closer inspection there's this big old snail sendind smoke signals.

I watched as my snails threw out sperm and eggs all in harmony. It was the coolest site i ever witnessed in my tank. The fish also loved it!
