The initial $800 I put into a half a$$ed tank w/ used parts

Finding a crack on the bottom of the tank due to an imperfection in the stand.
REplacing the tank and everythign inside it was quite a chore, but at least I was able to upgrade to a 90 for free.

Oh, another would have to be.
Pulling out all (aprox 400lb's) of LR to get rid of some damsels that came with the tank.

whether it was worth the trouble or not, for most it seems it payed off. rob, is there something that anyone of us fellow reefers could help you with? i think what i hated most is being in a remote area and the nearest lfs about 1 1/2 hours away. for the most part i am doing a hell of a job.

Not having the patience to wait for a reef ready tank and being sold a crap skimmer, my own fault really.

Not doing things right first time, plumbing being the biggest of my "Do it agains".

Not being patient, although i am doing better know, i think
