I couldn't find where they claim to have devoloped the methods (way to much crap to wade through, maybe you can post the quote from their site) and according to your way of thinking anyone who takes an idea and trys to improve on it is a theif, that would include a lot of companies including Euroreef, Lifereef, and almost every other company we use today. I welcome new ideas to the hobby, I think that a tank with a built in surge device is a great idea. I wish they had some pictures that I could see.

In all seriousness, I've actually seen some of their equipment and would say it's not half-ass done like some other stuff out there. I do feel that a natural method is one of the better ways to go, but we could easily accomplish that with our existing equipment at a cost that is considerably less.

The website is too reminiscent of a work-at-home idea or pyramid scam which probably lends to it's cheesy proposal.

Extremely high priced. I checked the 36 inch long aquarium option, and with their "standard" options (no mh or pc) the package was $9095.75. Yes, 9thousand! Absolutely ridiculous for a 30 gallon tank (their size on this 30 gallon).

I have added a refugium (algea scubber?) and upgraded the lighting and I still didn't hit 3K.
9K for 30g setup? I'd be looking for an apartment 8)

Hey, if you really think about it, your tank will weight half as much, and your bank account will also be more manageable! And when you finally can't get the thing to work after totally broke due to the high cost, you can said something like this in your ad:

The site makes me feel like I'm watching a cooking equipment informercial ("but wait, there's more!"), and browsing one of those "free trial" porn sites, all at the same time. If you happen to stumble onto their gallery, you'll see that there's nothing impressive about the tanks they're keeping either.

I got an online quote. The 55 gal system works out to $19424.25. A 120 gal is $24826.25. It's probably so high because I got the "deluxe" metal halide lighting system, for an extra ~$2000. :roll:

Now that I've had some time to read through the site, I think this may be kinda shammy. They claim that W/D filters poison your system, yet that's exactly what is on their top of the line models. Same thing with skimmers. :roll:
