i have a baby false percula clownfish and i was wondering if i put it in my 60 gallon reef tank with a adult maroon clown if it would kill it immediately or if they could live in the same tank together. would it kill a baby clownfish alot smaller than it?

I have a maroon clown that has been in my 75 gallon for about 10 months. Last month I added two baby saddle back clowns. They are fine, they follow the big maroon around and he doesn't mind(so far). :D

mer-lady that is very very uncommon consider yourself lucky.... or not eventually he may change his mind and decide the saddlebacks are encroaching on his space.... just watch it, it is not advisable to put other clown species together... ESPECIALLY maroons and other types.... sure it varies fish to fish, but maroon is def one of the most territorial of the clowns, those guys will attack your hand when your near there space.

I actually had to take a orange chromis out when I got the maroon clown because it chased him around and wouldn't let him eat, and my poor maroon was scared into hiding. I think I got lucky and got a nice one. I will watch carefully for him to change. I had a mean cb shrimp that plucked hunks out of the maroon clown and the yellow tang. He is in the refugium now.
