I don't mind candid discussion about these issues here, but just a reminder to always keep in mind it's not constructive to perpetuate any us v. them attitudes All the communities have their own personalities and that's a great thing; we all can choose the one(s) that suit us best.

Perhaps you are right Len, i guess i can be above that...i was just venting..i have no where in my post said or any replies suggested to anyone not to visit nano-reefs.com, just my personal experience with that site and my dislike...I have never pointed out which individual(s) have wronged me, and there are a few of them at RDO..I am by no means encouraging others to bad mouth nano-reefs.com or anyother similar site...my little disclaimer

no environmental issues? how about putting a predatory starfish in a reef? or how about keeping an animal unsuited for you tank in a foreign environment? i bet you are the kind of person who buys filefish and cleaner wrasses cause they are pretty. oh no, the marines and the navy, im so scared!!

I have had the worst experience and witnessed the poorest in professionalism by moderators ever at this site..i have never under gone such crap on a message board, its more like a dissing chat room...i may have not made the best livestock choices for my tank? but christ all mighty..here some called me an butthole and hopes i die cause i have a catalina goby..perhaps my water temp is a little high for it but ive had it for nearly a year...i know some of you here venture there...But no more...and for those of you who are gonna go back and tell the rest of most of those losers what ive said, then go do it...sorry but that is crap talk about feeling unwelcomed..BTW everyone over there is perfect..sounds like a damn walgreens commercial...so theres my venting..for some wierd reason i cant post pix there so i catch alot of flak for that too, im an imcompotent loser for that? :?

to add to len's comment, i think it's important to remember that there are many members who frequent both RDO and NR--our good friends tiny and acoustic for example. negative remarks on either side on either site could offend quite a few people.

Matt, not after the first two posts when I get the username for fun, with her avatar and sig line and whole nine yards. Afterward, I honestly tried very hard not to make any connection with the missing RDOTF Goddess, and I even stayed away from The Sump for a few weeks... I guess all my hard works did not pay off.

Keep the faith. It seems like everyone gets the "ol' hack job" done on them once in a great while; irrespective of how nice or well-meaning they are. Best to let it roll off your back and post like wild on another board - just like you are doing.

Dude, people were trying to help.... I said you needed more flow for a micro barrier reef... One person asked how your skimmer worked, and one asked about the goby and you flew off the handle pal. Nobody was being mean, simply asking questions and offering advice. If you don't want people talking about your tank and offering advice, don't post info about it in a discussion forum.....

For the rest of you, this was PM'ed to me from LordNikon about 10 minutes before he created this thread..... Mind you I was NEVER mean to him, until he started calling me names, and even then , all I did was try to explain why people were ripping on him, then he sent this little gem..... following is my exact reply.
