Here's what I thought of the show, I watched it all.
I was really waiting to see the fishman's planning of the giant system, the commercials made me think they were re-working walls, joists etc to fit in at least 4K gallons SW.
Thought he might sit back in the corner with a focused gaze, contemplating his nitrogen bioload and how he will process it. Would this be a fish tank with false corals, or a true system? What are the implications of plumbing and running a 4K gallon reef system, light penetration in a 6ft tank etc... dosing
Was waiting for on-sight fabrication of acrylic, making the tank conform to the internal shape of the home like a wrap-around theater big enough for Shamu. Unfortunately none of this happened, the show was 90% architecture and 10% aquarium (250's are as common as daylight) which is fine, I'm just saying the advertising was misleading for me. The one reason I watched it all, right after the fishplanner's full contribution to the entire planning was "water is heavy", was because of the welder Stefanie. I really thought they could not make the time and she welded valiantly, so they had my attention for 45 minutes.
