Oh No! peller busted

The shaft on my Mag drive 9.5 busted in half, my skimmer pump is now in the main tank for the time being.
And the lights are off, it's a storm

Anyway, the problem is that my refugium isn't getting any circulation, how long can algae last this away?

I bought the spindle on my lunch break; I'll get home around 6:00 PM.

Update:

Fish-n-corals look a little confused, but everything seems to be ok.

Note to self, keep an extra impeller assembly on hand. 8)

Wouldnt a refugium sitting with no circulation end up having 02 issues. I wouldn't be suprised if the algae went sexual that way. I would atleast put in a air stone or a small powerhead.

FWIW my Mag 9.5 impellar shaft broke after a few years also I got a new one from marine depot and superglued the old one untill the new one sowed up. The superglue actually held it for a few months.

Yea, you are probably right, but it was 3:00 AM and I only had one other power head, the skimmers.
I was more worried about the main tank than the ref.
I would have taken off work, but we are on a deadline.

I put in a bag of carbon for just incase.
