Top swimming fish?

Any suggestions for fish that swim near the surface?

Chromis should stay near the surface based on wat I had read.

my wife was just asking me that. In my mind, fish that swim in the open like a lot of swimming room. Our reef fish live on the reef, so they stay near the safety of the rocks.

Chromis will stay out, but only if you get a nice sized school, like 5 or more, so they feel secure.

Yap. Chromis are schooling fish but I was told by someone who had kept them before that once they are used to your tank, they may stop schooling.

I have had 3 chromis in my tank for a week or so and they swim right near the top, and rarely do they stray more then 6 inches from each other.
