Hey guys.

Still here, loving my tank.
My corals have all grown a great deal. The clam and invertebrates are all doing fine.
The AquaJR controller, calcium reactor, and everything else are on the go.
After 7 weeks, I think I'm ready to add a fish.
Question: A Copperband will go after my clam or any other coral?
I think I've learned from my mistake of populating my tank so fast.

Thanks to all of you who have helped me and encourage me to keep on going.

a copperband is not a good 1st fish choice by any means. they require excellent water conditions.
it may pick on corals n clams although many had success with them behaving.
a greater concern is getting them to eat. Most I've seen r very skinny n long term successes r few.

7 weeks already!!! Any way, I would list the fish I intend to keep. Then I would start with the gentles's (least territorial) finishing with the meanest of the bunch.
I know nothing about copperband butterfly, except that to the best of my knowledge all butterfly tend to go for corals.

Is hasn't been 7 weeks since you posted this thread:

When ???

At that time, you still had a clownfish in the tank. Is that still the case? As I stated in that thread, start counting the weeks when the tank is empty of all fish.

I never got the Clown out. It was impossible.

come on alfredo we thought u were better then this.... :sigh:... as previously stated im going to reiterate what so many people have said, take all the fish out and then you can wait ur 6,7, or even 8 weeks and then you should be good.... just quarantine ur fish before you introduce any new fish into the tank....

do the work now instead of having another headache later ;)....
