Does anyone have any experience with Blueline pumps? I was specifically interested in the NS series (800/1100) but feedback on any Blueline pump would be appreciated.

The description on Champion Lighting's site says they are designed by a former Iwaki engineer and are a comparable pump...

Hmmm, didn't know these pumps existed. I'd be interested in opinions too. Blueline/Champion has them named nearly identical to Iwakis, and some bear resemblances to American-made Iwakis. The "quieter operation" intrigues me, although it would take some serious convincing for me to give up my workhorse Iwakis.

anyone tried these yet? Chris, wanna be the guinea pig? ;)

I have been running a blueline pump for about 4 months I use it for a closed loop setup. It is fairly quiet. The only issue I have with it is it puts alot of micro bubbles in the tank. I have redone the piping twice so I don't think the air is from a leak.

HI,
I have been using two Blueline 1100's for 6 months now. The pumps I have are very quiet and produce a good strong flow. I have not experienced any micro-bubbles from either pump. One is a return and the other I am using on a closed loop. All in all they seem to be very reliable.
