Came home to a battle in my tank today !! :? Do ya think I outgrew my tank?

Everything was fine a week ago !!!

I've had similar experiences with my Green Star Polyps and Anthelia:

The GSP's ended up winning.

Looks like time for some propigation. You've got some broodstock waiting to be farmed.

You've got broodstock to be farmed, a tank to be saved, and money to be made! 8)

Seriously, you should propagate that stuff, and if you can't put it in any other tanks, sell it or give it to a friend or your LFS.

Corals will fight to the deathand sting each other badly, so act soon!

I know but i hate doing it... i have to cut a head off the frogspawn and head of the alveopora, give my finger leather a good haircut and move around the rest things... I feel like a butcher when I do that !! :?

Or, like pruning plants. You may feel like a butcher, but you're really more like their hairdresser, it's GOOD for 'em.

That's why I recomend only keeping 1 type of coral per tank 8O


JK, cut away my friend, they'll look much better that way.

To help ease your pain of having to butcher you corals, I will drive to Miami from Ft. Lauderdale and take the cuttings off your hands. :wink:

Thanks !! It's a 29g I'm setting up a 10g for a friend that maybe just inherited a few cuttings.. I have another 30g but thats a grow out tank for perculas and has only Home depot florecents.. Either I buy lights for the 30g and share it for the percs and frags or give them to him... Too bad lighting is so damn expensive..
