SpectraPure RO/DI

Need to get an RO/DI unit. Both of the following are SpectraPure units I am looking at. Do you think the 2nd option is overboard? The price is too steep for me new, but I may be willing to look for it used if it is that much better than #1.

I have the Four-Stage MaxPure MPDI Systems. Works well. Just make sure you get the pressure gauge and a TDS meter, either hand held or the build in one.

I just ordered the Typhoon III yesterday More than I wanted to pay, but it's a BARGAIN compared to other units equally equipped. I figure a good RO/DI will last for many many years, so I might as well just get quality and be done with it....speaking of which, these units come with a lifetime warranty

May just be smarter to buy new to get yourself outa headaches... who knows if the membrane's all warn out?
