Can't see it very well in that pick, but IME minor abrasions on a healthy tang heal pretty quickly.

Do you have him on a good tangy diet to combat the HLLE?

yes I have an excellent diet , homemade seafood with vitamin and garlic. f just started 3 weeks ago. I think ground probe are essential as I have one on my other tank and my purple tang lld is all cleared up.

Looks like an abrasion to me. Watch him CLOSELY, have a hospital set up just in case, with Spectrogram on hand.

went to change my carbon pad in this tank which is before the bio wheel and lots of worm like bugs with legs. Gosh creepy. in all my years of reef keeping never seen these before?
