Here are some pictures of one of the two skimmers that I built during the Maco Skimmer course. This skimmer is built and plumbed for a future 2nd beckett. I did that just in case!

I am very happy with the way this one turned out. Fergy does a first class job of preparing lesson plans that are easy to follow. This was a piece of cake!

T Gallo, we were furnished with templates to cut the pieces. We were sent acrylic pieces in square and rectanglular shapes that we routered using the templates. The course is set up so that all you have to have is a router table.

Puff, sorry dude. You'll have to take the next maco course to get the plans. See here.

did the big reaction chamber tube come to you like that? seems to me thatd be the hardest piece to buy/fabricate (if u could even make something like that, i dont see any way to)

ive always wonder where to get stuff like that for makin DIY stuff. all the other pieces seems easy enough to come across except for that

Which tube are you referring too? All of the tubes came "cut to lenght". We had to "lap sand" the edges to prepare them for gluing. No parts we sent "prefabricated". Any person with average mechanical abilities would be able to build one of these skimmers after taking the Maco course.

Louey Good Job

I now wish I had been more persistent in getting the wife to let me take that course. If we didn't have so much going on with the remodel and the bird coming I would of taken that course.

looks awesome

Did you notice that in the 1st pic it looks like it is taller than the space left under the tank? Or is in not going under there?

This skimmer is not for that tank, it is for the 300G tank that I am working on.

Thanks for the kind remarks. :)
