MAC Creates Responsible Aquarium Keeping Tips Magnetic Card

Marine Aquarium Council has created magnetic refrigerator cards with suggestions on preparing for a responsible entry into the hobby of marine aquarium keeping. These cards were given out at the Hollywood premiere of 'Finding Nemo'.

That is a really good idea. I wish these cards could have been distributed in my area

Aomthing like that should be put in a pamplet and REQUIRED BY LAW to be given or available to customers in all lfs. Along with a bit more detail on references to read and a general FAQ.

Seriously, I think that is a good idea, but it is not easy to put it into law....

I dont know about the rest of Cali but at Aquatic Warehouse they give you a care guide for the type of livestock you purchase. I got the impression that the state made them?!?!

Yeah one of the pet stores that I go to (Pet Extreme) said that they have to give out a care sheet or the owner would get into trouble. That also makes me think it is a State mandated thing.
