Dolphin Aqua Sea too much GPH?

Do you think the Dolphin Aqua Sea 2100 is too much for my 105 gallon? My return line piped through the overflow is ¾ inch so I would down size the output from the pump. I have about 5 ft of head. If I dial it down would it be overkill and introduce more heat

Don't think you can really have too much GPH. You should be fine.

i think it will be fine, im planning on useing a dolphin 4700 and two iwaki100 on my 350, dolphin on a closed loop and iwaki's from sump return.
