I picked this guy up at my LFS as a "tri-colored fairy wrasse" I know he's not a c. solorensis, but the closest pic I've found that looks like him is the c. aurantidorsalis at the marine center: http://www.themarinecenter.com/cirrhilabrusaurantidorsalis.htm. He's about 2.5".

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks

Anna

Yeah, I suppose he does look like a lubbock's, not of a color I've ever seen before though. Thanks- and if anyone has any input or experience with them, let me know!

That Kuiter book is probably the best printed refernce I've seen - having said that there are a lot of wierd fairy wrasses showing up lately. I had a C. solorensis that was a female - took me forever to get a positive ID.
