I am gonna bite the bullet and cut holes in the sides of my canopy for 5 inch fans. I think i want stainless guards as I would think the chrome ones will rust quickly. Anyone seen stainless ones ?
Here's a link for both 80mm and 120mm Fan Guards. They are for computer cases (some game oriented designs geared toward the geek) but they should do the job. I like the alien one myself :wink:
Well for my hole that was left after cutting out for a fan, I used a stainless steel drain cover, the kind you would find in a shower stall. I picked one up at Lowe's for less than $5.00. I can't recall the measurement off-hand, but it worked great for me, and they had many sizes. I opted for the one with the most holes in it.
