water level in skimmer

i like to know what is the best way
to adjust water level in the evo 750 from etss

in the picture you can see 2 number
where do you think the water level should be 1 or 2 ?
and way ?

I would say 2 but the only way to really know is to try and see where it works best. Its irritating but most skimmers have to be adjusted this way.

seems as tho the more water ,the longer contact time for the bubbles with the water

make sure the skimmer is = or higher than the water level in the sump or is sitting in the sump....you then adjust the hight via the gate valve to a height that allows you to feed the tank with out the skimmer running over start high and work your way down to where you can feed and get foam to just crest at top of mix chamber
