Is this the same as Southdown? I don't think it is, but it is pretty light in color. I checked out the Hagerstown, MD store, and it didn't look like they had any :( Is it usable?

I was thinking of using this when I set up my 75. The local Home Depot carries it here. I asked them if it was silica based and they called the manufacturer and they said yes it was. I would advise against using this. You can buy dry "reef sand" Not very expensive compared to some of the "live sand" being sold.

alrighty...I just wish I could find Southdown here. You would think I could considering I am only 1 hour from where they make it!

I saw something at the lfs called "Marine Sand" It was in small 5 pound bags. It is only for a 12g Nano. Heard of it?
