have seen no trace of him for about 10 days now.......
he was my favorite fish. about 2-1/2" long.
my long tentacle has about 10-12 inch disc.
i moved some of the rock around looking for him but no sign.

I learned the hard way that anenomes eat fish. I lost a few fish before I realized it was the anenome. Now I don't have them anymore. I guess thats what they do.......

Both anemones and serpent/brittlestars eat fish.... especially slow-moving, bottom-dwelling fish. Rita

T-Byrd , I have not kept the two together but do have both species. Aside from not keeping gobies and anemones together I can offer this advice. My watchman (I have a male/female pair) prior to moving tanks disspaeared for a good 2 weeks. I had some really nice tonga rock with lots of crevices in. Thinking hed crawled in and died I pulled thr rock out and looked in, couldn't see anything so I flushed some new salt water over the rock and out came the goby into the bucket. Since I moved him/her into the larger tank by themselves they are out a lot more but they will hide in the rockwork. Hope he's still alive but as previous poster said bad idea LTA and the goby.
