Just wondering if anyone has tried growing Chaetomorpha in a filter housing. I know some people have run heaters in theirs, however thought this might be worth a try.
Sorry, I meant one like an Aqua Clear. Mainly, I would like to grow a bit of Chaetomorpha, however don't have the space for a fuge at this time. As an alternative, if I keep it in the tank, I need to keep it in one place, preferable in a back corner. Hmm, maybe some sort of plastic mesh?
Since you're considering plastic mesh in the tank, have you thought about DIYing a small in-tank fuge? I would suspect that you could even use a "beta box" type of setup. (I don't know the technical term, but its just a plexi box with slots in it that sits inside the tank.)
