Hi Everyone.
I wanted to take the time to try and clear up some rumors and mis-information that is currently spreading around the Marine Ornamentals Industry.
As many of you know, I have decided to leave Harbor Aquatics to persue a new job with a major wholesaler, Sea Dwelling Creatures, in Los Angeles. I am doing this for a number of different reasons that I don't need to bore anyone with. However, I can say that I am leaving Harbor on good terms and Harbor will continue to operate just fine in my absence.
Now, there is a rumor going around the industry that I am going out to SDC to setup a mail order retail operation using their resources. This is laughably not the case. I am simply filling an open sales position at SDC.
It's been a great two years at Harbor and I've had the opportunity to meet several aquarists here in the Chicago area, some of whom I've formed great friendships with, as a result. Going forward, I am anxious to move out of the cold and looking forward to meeting all of you Californian's in the very near future.
So to all my Chicagoland, Indiana, and Michigan reefers.. "So long and thanks for all the fish".
