Another Lighting Ques

What would be considered GoodLighing for a 125..that will have soft and hard corals?..and few little fishies in them.

I would put three 250 DE HQI 10K fixtures. You'll grow anything you want, won't likely need actinic supplenteation, and makes heat more manageable than the 400 watters.
You could also go with six 160 watt VHO. 3 actinics and 3 50/50. I had this set up over a 125 and it was awesome.

it is hard to beat the low cost of a iwasaki 6500 MH lamp and a cheep mv ballast. You can diy one of these things for less than 100/250w lamp

I know HQI is better "I have them" but god Iwasaki 6500 setups are cheep and the corals love them.

Yes, but the color leaves a lot ot be desired not to mention the corals don't color up as much as with other bulbs!!
